was looking for a car mount suction cup and a car charger for my iPhone 3G. I came across an interesting package at FNAC, a suction mount bracket + Air Vent + cord cigarette lighter for iphone brand MCA. The iPhone is perfectly held in the carrier, the arm is rigid and the cup seems stuck on the windscreen. I have not tested support for air vents. I am not happy with current kit. So, if you can suggest me some of the car kits for iphone it would be great. Thank you for your help.

Apparently many adjustments in all possible directions by cons-supporting air vents but if you want to use it to use GPS is not the best support grid. Note also the air conditioning blowing on the iPhone is pretty average. Just follow this and see what is the result. If you are not happy then go for some other kit, such as provided by Kingston.

I tested all car stereos home, and impossible to have it. Either the iPhone was not recognized, or it was not loaded, or it put the (very ugly) white screen "accessory connected" and the music is controlled on the radio. Do you have any idea about it? Basically, I need a car kit that makes me the same functionality as a FM emitter: iphone music sends, receives calls, makes GPS, etc. ... And send all the car audio. Any additional information is appreciated.

There are two modes that are configurable you car kit
- Either you can configure the car drivers to the iPod
- The iPhone can be mounted to car driver
For my part I activated the 2nd mode. A small "iPod" is displayed in the lower right corner of the screen, and track number / title / etc displayed on the screen. I chose the music, and driver / playlists from the iPhone.

For me this was not a need because I never landed in principle by car, except for rare exceptions. And terms of look these radios are pretty nice. By cons I think the docs quite unclear and I hate to read a doc. The most significant thing is not having a wire and a charger plugged. There are even quite short dock cables if your iPhone is not far from the car.

Today I bought a charger "Xtreme inchargeauto mac" in orange or a store they said it was compatible with the 3G or I feel that this is not the case according which is marked on the package and on different sites. Before you open for anything, would there be the holders of this model? If it works with 3G, is there not a risk dabimer iphone 3g? If not, what model do you recommend to be on the compatibility? Thank you for your answers but find accessories for the 3g is not so simple it seems? So much for the support I can wait but not for the car charger?
